Anyone who bitches about Hanks voice because "its not manly enough" is the same type as drives a V8 pickup because he feels like people will think he's inadequate if he doesn't. And if you need a big truck to feel cool, you probably aren't shit yourself. (Note, I love pickups, just you shouldn't need one to compensate. A real man is still cool even if he's driving a Civic)

Hank Williams Sr. is the finest country singer on earth, he has beautiful tone, he writes his own songs, plays guitar too, his emotions are very strongly felt when listen to him singing. Hank's band is country. To top it off, Hank can yodel, and my dad said the best singers yodel, and if you like yodeling, listen to some of LeAnn Rimes, Dwight Yokum and another of my very favorites Ronnie Van Zant's song (of his band : Lynryd Skynyrd, song is Was I Right or Wrong' Ronnie yodels too, Hank and Ronnie died very young, so you would notice a cry in their voices as they sing, good listeners detect this in great singers. Hank hits the mood right in all of his songs, and my dad also said some advice, to people , if you don't like Hank's music don't listen, leaving airspace open so people like me can enjoy listening to Hank and the fine yodelers out there.. Hank's vocal range is very broad can go low and high, the best singers on earth can achieve this, he has done what many cannot do.

It has been said that the raw music of Hank Williams was taken by Fred Rose and refined with the backing music of Roy Acuff, in the Acuff/Rose studios, to produce the Singing Star that Hank became. Over the years I have collected the studio music of the Great Man, and it was excellent, giving a lot of pleasure, but these Unreleased Recordings are something else, it`s a new life to his voice and his music. How could they suppress this for so long. He was Fantastic and still is.
