This story is heartbreaking. I am a social worker and I advocate for mental health. I have seen first hand that TBI patients are labeled as mental health. I let them know its not and work with a brain injury center here in MI who know this happens often. They network with us to get people the proper care. The brain is a very difficult thing to understand for so many. It's a blessing I have met people with head injuries now to experience the difference of a TBI patient VS mental health patient. Most mental health diagnosis' I see with TBI's are labeled with a personality disorder, anxiety, depression, schizophrenia affective disorder disorder, OCD, paranoid schizophrenia. It is terrible. I will say the Michigan Brain Institute goes to events to spread awareness and networks with mental health providers for this issue. I hope more places do the same!

I was also about 10 years until I found a Joe Rogan podcast and saw a brain doctor. He instantly found the problem after years of hardcore depression, cognitive issues, etc. Got on drugs and feel much better, but cognitive function although better, is still pretty bad. Explosive anger issues, social issues, etc.

I'm definitely gonna come here and get healed someday too. I believe Cfx is the only place in the world with people that understand PCS. This Nigerian Doctors just be feeding me drugs, some even said my issue is psychological but I know they're wrong. I'm about to defer from college now 'cause I can no longer cope, but I'll work hard, earn and come get treated even if it'll take forever.

@@tosindoesstuff6573 Bro I am gonna pray for you. Let me tell you something, I had concussion a month ago and I am a lot better. Start praying, excersise a lot, play soccer or whatever you play. Your brain has been trapped and your body too. Go outside and relax. Eat good, take your vitmans. The worst thing is anxiey and depression that's why it's taking a lot of time. Start doing excersise, if you feel dizzy take a rest and then start doing again. If you have fear of anything, start doing step by step. You are gonna be good, God is merciful. Please start doing excercise, food, meditation, step by step putting stress to your brain, your brain is not ready for anything. Everything has a process, belief in yourself. In a month time you will be good, just start doing these things
