😂 her timing is bad and her delivery is terrible. Her cadence is taken from Jim Jefferies but she mumbles so it sounds worse. This is the least original comedy I have ever seen.

Hannah Gadsby can definitely be funny. Nanette wasn't in my opinion, but she must have had had her reasons for it and power to her. Dave Chapelle fans need to relax their tits and stop trolling her videos with preconceived opinions on her before evr hearing of her. She didn't deserve to be dragged into the whole debate, it was petty of Netflix to use her as a scapegoat.

Agreed. Chapelle fans come to Gadsby's videos with comments locked and loaded, and I bet none of them have ever watched a full set. Chapelle playing the victim in that video was the real tragic part of this story.

Chris Hernandez, i get how that would bother you, when people tell you this joke is too sophisticated for you to laugh at, or that comedy is too high brow for you to understand. ive heard stuff like that before too, and i think those fuckers just need to feel superior to all, so regardless of the subject ~ they are just there to put people down. i reckon comedy is like everything else, its just a matter of personal taste. and we all find different shit funny or interesting, based on our different life experiences or beliefs/how we were indoctrinated as children etc. anyway i do think youre genuine, asking someone to explain how this is funny, so i'll try. but i have a pathetic memory so can only remember the last bit. "cats are fake dogs." thats super funny to me, cos ive read many debates between cat people and dog people, and that simple 4 word sentence seems to be (at least to me) (& my tribe of rescue dogs) like the winning argument. oh and also: "i rest my case. thats a fake satchel" i love that too! yes its sorta dopey, obvious, wordplay but thats what my inbuilt laugh~sensors want these days. playful. uncomplicated. silly. this aint Hannahs best stuff though. she has way funnier gags and some real thought provoking stuff in her repertoire too. but if you dont like it, well youre entitled to not like everything someone else does. be a bloody boring world if we all agreed on absolutely everything eh?
