I was going through a bad time with my husband and i spent 4 hours praying and fighting in the spirit and all of sudden I was taken to heaven and I saw who I was in God's eyes. My daughter, who will be 13 in August 💜 this song. So do I. She started middle school last year and had a tough time. I had a difficult child hood myself. Both my parents came from hard backgrounds... my dad, 1 of 5 children. The grew up very poor, his father who drank, died when he was young, he later was a Vietnam Vet & P.O.W. for 3 until he was able to escape & get 3 others out with him. He passed in 2009 @ just 60. My mother, had a father that abandoned their mother, her mother drank quite a lot. She & her younger brother were taken away, she was given the choice One could stay with their grandparents...the other had to go to a foster home. As a kid, she made that choice- to let her little brother stay @ the grandparents. From what I was told by others, she was very mistreated in the home(s) she was in. @ 14 she started work to support her brother & Grandparents. Then as she was about to start nursing school, her mother died, so she had to give that up to completely support her brother & Grandparents. The reason for sharing their stories... I had a VERY difficult childhood. Recently a counselor said to me, "I don't think you had the beautiful, happy childhood you THINK or SAY you did. After piecing together what you have told me over during our visits this year..." Truthfully, I had been sering her because my mother had become extremely abusive. So much in fact I felt NO ONE would believe me if I were to tell them the things she said, did, how I treated...etc. Apparently, between the videos I secretly made to show the counselor and ☎ calls made to her BY my mother, she believed me... At one pointbshe even suspected her of poisoning me. With all THAT said, along with the difficulties of my ADHD, being a very neglected kid, I had to learn to be a fighter. While it may only be my daughter & myself, (and Jesus, of course. 💜👑🌈😜) I've always given her 💯% of myself. When she started middle school last year and had a hard time with bullies it was almost as hard for ME worrying about her. But art and music are a few of the things that bring her peace. She loves to sing and is trying to learn to play the small 🎸 our old church gave her when she was 6. I've been encouraging her singing and when she heard Hannah she immediately clicked with her music. I had not heard my daughter actually sing until recently. She would always refuse to do so when I asked her to.... saying, "I sound funny when I sing. No. I think I sound weird." I finally got her to...outside our house... lol 😄when no one was around. But..when that child opened her mouth and started singing... It blew me away...& I realized what she THOUGHT sounded funny. She sounded like Janis Joplin or something. LOL I told her, dear, that's SOUL...and don't let ANYBODY make you change it. She's started singing along with Hannah and Warrior, which we just heard a week or so ago is her favorite. It's also great that she has a good, positive role model ✌ LONG STORY, I know, but hearing my baby sing Hannah's song...and knowing what that girl has been through, and what I went through, it just makes a mamma thankful. Thank Jesus and Thank Ms Hannah ✌

Hannah, this song has helped my husband and I so much since Dec. He ended up with bacterial infection in his blood stream and it hit him every where he has arthritis. He couldn't walk or move. He finally went home in Feb walking with a walker, then it hit the bone in his left hip, hip surgery, back in hospital for another 10 weeks. But we're Warriors, we will win this battle. My son goes to Boonsboro High school. They are the Warriors. My son has Hurler syndrome . He's had a bone marrow transplant and 20+ surgeries, and has special needs. He has the most school spirit of anyone. He came down with pneumonia on Wed. Thur he was flown to Children's National Medical Center in DC A friend sent me your song. It is perfect "keep breathing" "heart of a warrior" He has now been intubated and put on a vent. He was stiil working too hard, so they gave him a medicine to temp paralyze him, so the vent can do It's job. I put my phone up by his head and play your song. I hope it will keep him fighting. I was incarcerated back in 14.i was a hood...a thug...a ignorant violent manipulative deceiving individual...others pain gave me a smile especially if I caused it.. I laughed at the judge whwn he gave me my sentence and said."haha thats all? I even smiled in my mugshot...i was a lost soul on a downward spiral...6 months into my 3 year sentence a guard asked me what made me ao evil? I said life....he then said..."no youre evil because you dont have God" it stung me! I started to feel sorry for myself although I deserved everything I got..my cellmate saw this....handed me a bible and told me only through God can we be guaranteed salvation. It hit me like a tank! I read the introductory and I tell you this....i felt everything wash away...i felt secure and safe,I felt reborn... I cried like a baby but in joy. Ive never looked back to find the old me. Can never express in words just how loved I feel knowing I have my heavenly father and my lord n savior by my side always. Hate has no power here...I love every single one of you. God bless and keep you all safe.

One thing I love about this song (besides everything) is that it beautifully captures the concept of fighting FROM a place of victory rather than FOR it. The line says “you’ll never stop me, I’m a warrior” because I have already won; you can’t defeat someone who’s already won the battle, so it’s more so reminding Satan that he can’t win no matter how hard he tries. Jesus defeated him 2000 years ago and because Jesus lives in us, we are warriors, more than conquerors through Him who delivered us. Jesus won the battle for us, so we just need to trust in Him and exercise the authority He gave us.

I came across your song about a year or 2 ago, I've lost many nights of sleep due to what I had been going through. There are a small handfull of artists I listened to but yours and one other group of artists kept me fighting... I feel wrong for confessing my pain and that it is my own fault, I have developed PTSD due to severe abuse from my Wife since the start of our marriage, we had been married for nearly 5 years and I had moved with her 100's of miles from my home thinking I was saving her mother...alittle while back I had finally gotten out of it but I have been unable to sleep since I've gotten away, what it comes down to is even if you never see this message I want you to know how incredibly grateful I am to you! Thank you Hannah. This song helps me through a battle I am fighting for my life. I have a connective tissue disorder that has caused a great deal of physical disabilities that I rise above, through God's Love, whether fighting from my bed, a hospital bed, or on my feet when I am actually able to do something. I need a multivisceral transplant of my stomach, small intestine, large intestine, and pancreas. My family goes through so much, so a song that lifts up those who consider themselves Warriors, in any situation or circumstance, is such a needed positive influence that we listen to regularly at my home.
