I completely agree with you. I used to watch this with my mother and I'm a guy but it didn't matter. This show was for everybody. My mother has since passed away so every now and then I like to pull up these songs to bring up those memories. I wish they would put this show on DVD and Blue Ray at least. Not just certain episodes but actual seasons. The problem was that it was all about image. She needed to maintain a wholesome image because of her being on Disney Channel. That can put an emotional toll on anyone. What probably happened was she got so stifled and felt so oppressed on that show because of the certain image she needed to maintain that she went completely wild when she finally could. And in doing so, a lot of her dicisions, especially wardrobe dicisions weren't the best and it doesn't surprise me that she alienated people from that show. But let me just add that Emily Osment did go on to do an adult themed show of her own called Young and Hungry. But yes, I totally agree with you.
