April Hurst agreed! Dancers are always challenged with new styles and even tho we feel uncomfortable we do our best to become a stronger dancer. Literally Can’t get over the people commenting such nasty things about someone so talented, people have no education on the matter and give out opinions, they look like idiots

@@SpongeBobbyBrady your right posing is not dancing but she has had ballet training what's with the hate? I don't get it go have some ice cream and calm down
@debraterry54064 жыл бұрын
@@SpongeBobbyBrady I'll clear this up. Arabesques, attitudes, chasses, developpes, tours jetes, grand jetes, sautes, soutenus, to name a few, are ballet moves that Hannah exhibited in her performance. Extensions are also considered a dance move. Oh, and let's not forget her Latin dance moves. By saying that all Hannah does is gymnastics clearly shows your ignorance. She's had ballet training and it shows. By the way, the majority of the dance numbers I've seen on this show do some form of acrobatics or gymnastics. Are you saying the same about them or are you just targeting Hannah?
@petraloanne72964 жыл бұрын
@@debraterry5406 She went to ballet school after her retirement and has mainly been doing ballet and contemporary jobs for a while now. She's had principal roles in ballet companies, so unfair to see so many people dismissing her talent and only seeing her for her past career.

@@petraloanne7296 I know. I've seen her bio. She is amazing and I fell in love with her after seeing her audition. I've been following her ever since. Being a dancer for 15 yrs. and a dance teacher for 10 yrs. I know a thing or two about ballet. I only wish I had Hannah's flexibility when I was younger. lol It frustrates me reading some of these comments. To say all she does is gymnastics in her routines proves that the majority of these people don't have a clue when it comes to dance. To see a dancer be so diverse, like Hannah, is so exciting! I just hope that the hateful comments don't hurt her in the end. I see that Hannah didn't post her comments and thanks after her performance like she usually does.

This was such a great performance Hannah. I have absolutely no technical understanding of dance but every dance you did took my breathe away. I was very sad you didn't get into the final. I want you to believe in yourself and your star ability as a dancer and really hope you go onto greater things to blossom into the great dancer you are. All the best for your future. I like Hannah and think she's incredibly talented, but I'm sorry that routine had little to no Latin steps! She did 2 syncopated lock steps, a Cuban break, and a zig zag, plus a little Argentine Leg work, and that's it! Really disappointed as I think she could have done more :/ She nailed the attitude, just not enough Latin content...

She choreographed all her dances in the greatest dancer herself, she has never done Latin before and knows little about the style as does her coach ofc their wouldn't be a professional Latin dance!

First off shes flexible as hell. Secondly I think she did a good job plus shes not even the one who comes up with the routines probably so... point fingers at someone else. Especially if you cant dance yourself.

I agree! More exact dance moves are needed. Very flexible but more dancing required.
@madison85684 жыл бұрын
cheznardi exactly! I said something similar I saw on the last video of her too! I said it seems like they are using the same moves in different variations. It is the same constant tricks (that is literally what all of those flexibility moves and contortion moves are referred to in dance; some people like them, some don’t) with maybe a sprinkle of some technical moves like the turns and very little dancing. Her technique is good in some areas but then lacks in others (she falls out of turns or lack power in leaps). It is clear she is a rhythmic gymnast who is trying to be a dancer. It is also very clear she needed to find herself who she is post rhythmic gymnastics as a dancer and not as gymnast. She definitely should have invested more beforehand in dance classes in the various styles to really develop that musicality and style. Then also to an extent those are things that just naturally come to a person with a time and being allowed to just explore freely. In rhythmic gymnastics routines are choreographed down to the hand position with very little room for artistic creatively. I also think whoever is choreographing this isn’t doing a good job. They lack in musicality.

katherine borchard the whole point is to challenge a dancer to help them get stronger, yes she’s a rhythmic gymnast and it’s nice she’s getting her sport the attention it deserves but it’s a dance completion to find the best dancer and the best dancers out there tend to be good at several styles so it’s nice to see this. She also did amazing, Latin is super hard!
