An unknowing ear would think she’s a “whisper” singer with no vocal technique, but the way she sings and her vocal choices reflect sooooo much thought and training. It’s so hard to do what she does, and on top of that the EMOTION? She’s perfected her craft, period. That said, she can also belt Broadway and sing RnB runs and neosoul rhythms pretty flawlessly so ya, there’s no question about her skill as a vocalist. I love her she deserves all this success please react to more of her!!

I am a music fan and I love hearing trained people agree with my taste in music. Lizzy is an amazing talent. Her guitar playing is underrated as well. Everything she does is just so thought out and precisely how she wants it. There's a surprise in every song; some chord, choice of lyric, a note that's unexpected. I love that she'll do an acoustic version of a highly engineered studio song and it's equally amazing, and then she performs a different arrangement live and it's amazing too. Feel free to do more videos and fan-girl away about Lizzy.

There are like 3 or so songs on Give Me a Minute that are VERY musical theatre-y. She is such a big Broadway fan, and was a student at Berklee, so she definitely has a background in how to inject every line in her songs with a shitload of emotion. She's incredible.

I just found Lizzy a couple months ago and I was immediately obsessed. Her voice is just so smooth and controlled and her lyrics are so good. Goals, all around! You mentioned how she's really good at changing her voice to match the emotion and I think that was one of the FIRST things I noticed when I listened to Five Seconds Flat.
