@@the.annethology i feel like Italy is so full of beauty and honestly, the food is so good, but i don’t like some things within the government, such as bureaucracy, and the little to no opportunities you’re provided here in terms of work. Plus, the school system (and many other things) should change, it has been the same since forever and it isn’t the best for us students. But i do believe that Italy is one of the best countries for a vacation, the Coast’s sea and ice creams are unbeatable imo :)

@@jathebest2835 hi, I’m not the girl of the original comment, but since I saw the conversation and I’m from Italy too I think I’m allowed to give my answer :) honestly, the only real good thing about Italy is probably the view. The school system doesn’t work anymore, we are forced to choose our job basically at 14y, because our high schools are highly specialised (so you either go to the humanistic one, the scientific, or even one where you get taught how to cook, or how to become an hairdresser, etc), but it’s so inconvenient, a lot of people actually change their minds later and it just gets hard. Some people also complain that the entire school system is quite hard, literally dehumanising, and i won’t say anything about it because I only heard stories from other people but I never experienced first hand other countries schools, but it really looks like that. I saw people commenting on the politics and I couldn’t agree more. Italy is SO behind in everything. Our current government is a sort of fascist woman who is doing everything in her power to bring us even more down: she’s against LGBTQ+ people, she doesn’t want to recognise children of those couples, she wants to literally ban English words from everywhere so that we return to use only Italian (which is crazy omg), and so many other things. So yeah, great view … but what about the rest?

Thank you for this video. I'm Italian and I recently moved abroad for work and seeing these places was so soothing, especially because they are deeply tied to my family background. My family is from the Amalfi Coast, my paternal grandparent worked in Capri for decades and some of my aunts and uncles work in Positano. Nex time you come to Italy make sure to visit Naples properly! It is an amazing city with lots of history

Italy is truly one of the most beautiful places ever, if you are visiting next time go to Florence, it is a bigger city but still has the traditional italian style buildings, it's amazing and another recommendation is Grado, it's on the northern part of Italy, a small town with south Italy vibes, it's one of my favourite italian cities!☺
