My best packing tips (from someone whose moved a lot) 1.) you can sometimes get free boxes a lot of times people will list them on Facebook market place, eBay etc. All you have to do is pick them up. Same with bubble rap (also once you finish moving list your boxes as well great way to reduce reuse recycle) 2.) any personal items and anything you’ll need the night you move in should NOT go in the moving truck they should all go in 1 or 2 boxes and come with you this should include includes a tool box with all the tools you’ll need to assemble furniture with, chargers for your devices. 3.) If you’re using a moving truck remember that the first things you put on are the last things you take off. So plan accordingly. 4.) towels make great makeshift bubble rap put them in between plates inside cups rap up silverware 5.) organization is key don’t just write what in the box on the top put that ish all over top, bottom, sides even throw a list on top before you close the box. Things can and will get hectic fast. If you are labelling your box’s (kitchen bathroom bedroom etc.) make sure you put a matching label in the corresponding room a bedroom and a living room can look very similar (obvi for small places not as big of a deal)

Also on the subject of free boxes check with local businesses. A lot of the time they’ll have boxes they’re fine with you taking as it means they don’t have to deal with them.

One of the BEST moving tips: don't label what's inside the box on the box itself. Instead number your boxes &/or categorize by room (especially helpful with movers) and then have a separate list on your phone with the box number and contents. That way expensive items like electronics or jewelry are kept more discrete as to which box they are located inside.

My grandpa, the person I have loved this entire life passed away yesterday. Nothing brings me peace in this moment, nothing. This is my first time losing someone. Nothing makes sense and cancer took away my grandpa the day he discovered he had cancer 2 months ago, he was just a body in extreme pain. I am away in college, and I still haven’t processed things. In this very moment when nothing is comforting your videos feel like home. Thank you, Hannah, even though you don’t know me and the rest of us, I am sure you have helped us in many situations. I don’t know is there’s a heaven but if there is, our grandpas are there and they are proud and looking after us. I prayed today for the first time in years and I cried a lot, because I know I won’t have that hug anymore, when I arrive at his house on Friday, I won’t be welcomed by him, with a smile on his face and saying “look it’s our Bruna”. loved the video ❤️ i’ve moved so many times and with every move i feel like i keep getting smarter at moving. My number one tip is to have a first night box or can be a suitcase, basically one spot that is full of stuff you know you’ll need the first night so your not going through a bunch of different boxes looking for stuff. nothing sucks more than moving and getting everything into the apartment then needing to look through separate boxes for shower stuff, sheets, and etc. can’t wait for the rest of the moving vlogs ❤️❤️❤️

Also, this worked better for me- I didn’t buy EVERYTHING ahead of time. Buy the necessities so you don’t have to move as much. Then once you’re in, go out and buy the cleaning supplies and decor. This saved me SO MUCH time and energy. Plus made shopping fun and not stressful
