I'm a property manager and maintenance person I'm always in a dress and usually have a power tool in my hand. Unfortunately I cant deny that even though people tell me I don't look my age (I'm my early 50s) I probably should calm my life a bit rather than running around doing manual labour, which I love but my body not so much ! In my pursuit for a more restful job I signed up on Linkden and started making a resume but I didn't even last a few hours before I paid someone else to complete that "crap" and went out to build a fence lmao. Change is hard ;)

Super funny video this week Hannah, loved the chill cabin cleaning and the wacky and wildness of Joey's antics. I noticed you working on your knees to plank the bridge, and I wanted to mention that knee pads are a knee saver no lie. I've done alot of work that requires me to be on my knees and I never really used knee pads, so one day I got down on them and something switched and they hurt incredibly. I ended up in bed for a week, I wish I had protected them more as the pain has stayed for the most part for almost two years. Don't get me wrong they feel alot better now but they are not the same. Please please protect those lovely knees of yours!!! Cheers

Don't worry about the whole bridge not being treated. Most of the time when you buy treated and stained lumber it's of a lesser quality than untreated unstained lumber. The other stuff with which you built most of the bridge, if you treat it yourself, will last longer than the pretreated stuff. You done good!

I love how connected to nature you are and everytime I watch you running around barefoot in shorts or in flip-flops all I can think is I would be freaking out about stepping on a snake or getting bit by a spider or getting Lyme disease .
