I don’t whether you reply, but I love theatre but I struggle with learning lines, how do you do it? Xx

Not who you were hoping to hear from, but….! There are apps you can use where you programme your cues and lines in and can listen to them in order or individually. I have Off Book but never really use it. Reciting “parrot fashion” (over and over) works best for me, but you struggle with that, I used to write them down if it was a monologue. If you write them over and over, you find your brain taking them in without even trying too hard. Then you can go to the reciting. Hope it helps a little!

How come you deal with the cut scripts and not the director? Surely you struggle to do them in time sometimes xx

They don’t have a resident director for the show so Hannah as dance captain does all the script/scene change stuff for a cut show, she mentioned it on a live a little while ago ☺️

Directors often craft the show initially and delegate responsibilities for changes during the run etc to other cast members, usually the dance captains.
