Amanda Lewis 👏 I too find it really weird and unsettling when people are bothered by others’ happiness about something that in no way affects them...I’ve never done a gender reveal, but I think that it’s sweet for the families and friends involved.

Congrats! I literally laughed out loud at the end! 🤣 also I'm pregnant with my 2nd. This pregnancy I've been vegan the whole time but with my first baby I turned vegan 3 months before I gave birth so I totally agree with your theory that when you're use to eating veggies and fruits more it's easier to eat while pregnant. My first pregnancy I ate so much junk food and greasy bad meats and dairy. Felt horrible the whole time. This pregnancy has been a walk in the park compared to last pregnancy and so easy to stay away from the junk!

Everything looked so delicious. Something I try to do, especially in the summertime, is keep a bowl in the sink to catch water. Washing produce, heating up the water, and just rinsing my hands makes so much water that is perfectly fine, so I water my plants/ garden with it! I will fill a bucket up every single day and then dump it. If I’m canning, I use even more. Watching you wash your produce made me think of it. We all go through SO much water, so I figured, why not try to conserve a bit of it?

I TOTALLY agree with your healthy food/junk food theory. When I was pregnant with my first, all I could stomach was fast food but I always ate whatever I felt like before that. This time around, a few years later, I eat a whole food/plant based diet and even though I have severe morning sickness again, I still prefer the healthier foods for the most part. I find it much easier to ignore the unhealthy food cravings out of habit. That surprised me a lot this pregnancy because I was an uncontrolled vacuum with my first even with HG.

But, my youngest - Oh boy 🤢 Was sick at least the first trimester, and sense of smell became insane! Everything was overpowering... Don't recall food aversions though, after morning sickness 🤷‍♀️ Got lucky there! Much love ❤ Congrats!!!

When I was pregnant my 2and trimester was strictly green smoothies (to get in greens) pineapples, watermelon and salt n vinegar chips. Couldnt handle anything else!

I’m so sorry you are having so much food aversion! It really is miserable. 🥺😭 I had it for the whole first trimester while I had crippling morning sickness. This is my second pregnancy with extreme first tri morning sickness and food aversion. It gets better mama!

My favorite homemade salade dressing is - nut butter (I prefer almond) vinegar, water, maple syrup! :) super simple and easy to mix and add onto any salade or wrap
