i know this is SO late and i've been all over the place this summer but wow thank you for being patient with me. it seriously means so much. but this was a very fun week with my best friends in northern michigan we got to have a week of summer FUN! so many good memories.

I'm appreciative of alone time and breaks. With it being summer vacation, it's so nice to just take a little break away from all the responsibilities and busyness, whether it's college or just every day-to-day life, taking the time to relax and focus on all forms of my health more in-depth. Reading, going to the beach, lighting a candle and putting on a show, or in this case, your youtube videos, sounds like the smallest thing to do to spend your time, but I'm so appreciative of time and being by myself!!

I really appreciate the people who effortlessly do acts of kindness. The people who let you on the bus before them, the people who come up to you in the street to give you back something you dropped, the transport workers that help you no matter the state you are in, the people who let you watch a film you want to even if they don't just to make you smile. I feel this is just an example of people who are not going ridiculously out of their way to help you, but the things they are doing really bring you a smile and even sometimes a sense of relief. They really go a long way and I try to be as much like these types of people as I can.

I don't think about this often enough but I am so grateful for the world we live in. It sounds so cheesy but the fact that everyone has parts of the world that they love and feel like home at is so comforting. Like going to the beach, the city, the country and some people have a connection to all of them which is so so special. Or even travelling, like the plane is such a safe space for me and so many others because we know that on the other side of that trip there are new memories, friends and most of all there is tomorrow to make it better than the day before. Hannah, I've watched you since your back to school, tours and routines era about 5 years ago. But my favourites have always been your traveling vids because I know that's what you love. Watching you do what you love makes me want to to go out and make the most of what I love too. Even if those things are different, we all have our places, people or times that feel so comforting and pure to us. That is what I am grateful for. The diversity in our world that caters to everyone. I am so incredibly appreciative for my friends and family, it sounds like such a simple thing to be grateful for but I think that that is what makes it so special! Whenever I am having a hard time, bad hour, day, or week the people I love most are always there to pull me out even when I don't realize it in the moment.
