Stay tuned for the entire process of how I retouch my new growth and entire hair video! EDIT: the color fades fairly quickly! I was retouching it every two weeks but with conditioner of course. I’m already thinking on going to my natural brunette color for a break and low maintenance.. I don’t know, what do you guys think?

Hannalyn It’s probably fading fast because you’re adding conditioner to the color mix. You should try it without adding the conditioner

Yeah, mine too. It may be the brand. My sister told me she uses the kiss brand and her hair doesn’t fade as quick but mine fades quick too (about 2 weeks) and I use Adore without conditioner and it still fades quick. I have a similar color to your hair in the video but I even tried doing black and my hair started to turn green after only a week.

So pretty - you did an excellent job!! I certainly want more orange. My hair is already an auburn color. Would you recommend I only use the adore cinnamon 58? Or maybe 3/4 of the cinnamon and 1/4 of the ginger spice??

Ikr, I'm trying to figure out what shade to get- I'm trying to get a gingery auburn colour but I'm currently medium brown with some light brown parts (don't ask, they appear either light or red when I go in the sun 😂), so I don't know what shades to get 😂 I was gonna go for the ginger colour to counteract my medium brown but then idk 😂

adagator33 you’re going to need to start with pre-lightened hair because this semi-permanent color only deposits color to your hair, it won’t lighten your hair. If you start with dark brown hair it is not going to show over it. If you start with a color similar to mine: light brown/blondish then you’re going to get similar results as me. And if you start with lighter blonde hair than mine then its going to show up even lighter than how mine turned out. Feel free to ask me anything, I know it can be confusing.

Beautifully Kayla it really depends on how light your hair is. If your hair is lighter than mine (in the video) it will come out lighter/brighter. But if your hair is darker than mine, it’s going to come out darker than my results. It’s not going to work on dark brown/black hair, in that case you will need to lighten your hair to see your desired results with this hair dye. The hair dye I used is a semi-permanent color that only deposits color to your hair, it doesn’t lighten your hair .
