Your Egyptian Soul. Love So Much

Nadia maybe Egyptian, but she is very publicly racist to her own people. She makes repeated various comments about the Mazin sisters as being refined and unsophisticated dancers and people. She got blasted for it even by Egyptians. There is internalized racism even within people of culture. She is a very ignorant person who maybe a good dancer but that does not provide her a pass on racist behaviour. I don’t agree with this whole blacklist thing, but she truly did step out of line with her comments. They were most certainly a validated racist statement. And that came from a person of culture from an Egyptian. All the other people on that blacklist very questionable statements.

It seems that people don't know what the meaning of racism is. Just because she doesn't like a couple of dancers does not make her a racist.

@@kimhesketh2016 really you didn't see her statements. It was nothing to do whether it was a styling or dancing preference dislike. It was a underhanded derogatory racist statement against the ghawazee Mazin dancers, you clearly don't understand that they are of the lower classes in Egypt and dancers in Egypt regardless of your Western perception are considered on the level of prostitution. Her comments Nadia clearly thinks she's above that due to her popularity. And many other Egyptian dancers and Egyptian who support dancers support do not support what she said at all. She causes trouble and then back pedals with her popular support from the western woke white front who will defend her. If the Egyptians found it offensive then why should she be defended why should white dancers in North America believe she's better than somebody else? Her statement was clearly racist, classist and elitist and she got called out even by the Egyptian's for it.
