I love the sheer amount of insanity just in that room at that very moment. You have Hannibal, who manipulates and killed dozens if not hundreds of people and is smart enough to not be caught. You have Gideon, who was also intelligent and a doctor at one time, but became so insane that he killed his family, and kept killing others because he was brainwashed into thinking he was the killer Hannibal actually was. He would also later eat his own cooked leg, and actually liked it. And you have Will, who is brain damaged and so unstable that he can barely talk, and is hallucinating, thinking that Gideon (who is already confused about his own identity) is actually Garrett Jacob Hobbs, another insane cannibal who ate his victims and tried to kill his own daughter who helped with his murders, but is already dead. It's like madness personified into several people.

As far as I know MGM said they will do a sequel about Clarice, this was in 2013 when also Hannibal started, since then are no news about this. My apologies but one could easily take the gun away without brushing one's fingers over Will's. It reminds me of that time Hannibal Lector from Silence of the Lambs gave Clarice those documents and while doing so, gently brushed his fingers over hers. Will really is like a combination of both Clarice and Will Graham from the movies and Hannibal takes such special notice to him with odd care. He's hardly ever infuriated with him except that one time he was immensely heartbroken from when he allowed Will to manipulate him into thinking Will finally became what Hannibal wanted him to be. He trusted him and in essence, loved him.

Yes. Which is why I’m assuming Lecter did the checking pressure points on his head with both hands, in case he was wobbly, but he was pretty close (in case he fell) because he could have died. A mild seizure though is common for something like this. You can check out mentally and physically stand for awhile
