One of the few songs from the comeback that actually captures the strange magic of the old Hanoi! Yeah, it's overblown, too long, too cheesy and it's got a boomer-y sax solo. But that¨s what makes it awesome! However, the record it's from is not that good overall (too many Michael Monroe solo project leftovers). They should have made 12 Shots on the rocks an EP or a 10" instead of a full album and then called it quits. Had 12 Shots been shorter and contained this song, people like me, obscured, day late, dollar late, moonlite dance and (possibly) watch this, and nothing else it would have ranked among their best. But no, they had to include horrible songs like Winged Bull, New York City and Whatcha Want.

Yeah, exactly what I have been thinking for 20 years. if they just hade cut all the Monroe solo left overs and turned 12 shots into 4-5 song EP it would have been great. Overall the comeback albums are kinda embarrassing.
