한옥 韓屋 literally means "Korean House" in Korean. 韓 = often used to express "Korea(n)". 屋 = often used to express "House". This kind of housing structure is common around the East Asia area, so you can find this in China and Japan as well.

Did you know you can select multiple items with the TOOL mod? You can do this by selecting one item then holding down alt and selecting other items that you want. This will allow you to shrink multiple of the same items at once. I just thought this might help because it looks tedious to have to select the same item over and over again just to shrink it. Hope this helps 😄

So cool! I grew up with Japanese pop culture (of course European and American too but this isn't about them), but the last few years I have read Korean webtoons and become more curious about their culture too, the whole world is interesting honestly. My personal Korean WebToon recommendations (hearts with my favorites, stars with those not translated into English officially yet (the ones with official translation are on webtoons.com), map with those with all original names intact which is what I prefer): - Orange Marmalade ❤️🗺️ - Days of Hana ❤️ - Lookism ❤️ - Flow ❤️🗺️ - Crepuscule 🗺️⭐ - Can't See Can't Hear But Love 🗺️⭐ - The Friendly Winter 🗺️⭐ - Tales of the Unusual 🗺️ - Ctrl+Z - The Wolf and Red Riding Hood - Super Secret - How to Become a Dragon 🗺️ - Your Throne ❤️🗺️ - Refund High School* - Your Throne - Ghost Theatre* - Ghost Teller* ❤️🗺️ - Killer Stall 🗺️⭐ - Viral Hit 🗺️ - My Daughter is a Zombie 🗺️ - Swimming Lessons For A Mermaid 🗺️ - It's Mine 🗺️(?) - A Good Day to be a Dog - Bastard ❤️🗺️ - Sweet Home 🗺️ - Oh Holy - Aura From Another Planet ❤️🗺️(not sure) - The Remarried Empress 🗺️ - #Killstagram 🗺️ - Back to You 🗺️ - Unholy Blood 🗺️ - Pararell City 🗺️ - Mom I'm Sorry 🗺️ - No Longer a Heroine * shares universe Yes there are many fantastic ones, but these are the Korean ones I like a lot in particular. If they sometimes change the names because "they are too hard for westerners to learn" why not give us a chance to do it? If you want to teach a kid to talk, you can't avoid teaching certain words because "they'll be too hard", how are they supposed to learn then? Out of thin air? Sorry about the rant...

The house reminds me of typical protagonist's house in soap K-drama... I feel nostalgic. You should try to build a Joseon palace, that would be wonderful.
@tamzin-jademckenzie77033 жыл бұрын
you should watch MR.queen, its a historical drama which is slightly modern also. Its kinda Like Cloy(Crash landing on you) with like the mix of modern and historical, the drama is set in the Joseon era, and its really funny and has some nice romance in as well and I binged it in like a day, its defiantly worth the watch

I liked this before watching, but I just had to start this comment in the middle of watching by saying 1) LOVE the eve support beams and the tiles on the fence and 2)hello fellow sageuk fan! I like all of them, but especially the really long royalty based ones with concubines and scheming and tragic ends to 8/10 characters. Dae Jang Gwum and Dong Yi are amazing. I like Cruel Palace -War or Flowers a lot, where the lead female is essentially the villain of the series. It's a bit more risque for its time because it was on cable channel I think. Mr. Sunshine is amazing but heartbreaking, the kind you think should win oscars but you'd not want to rewatch. Crash Landing On You was indeed amazing but the less I say about BOF the better. For modern I like recent ones, such as Beauty Inside, Secret Life of My Secretary, Hospital Playlist, retro Reply series or the fusion fantasy ones like Hotel De Luna or Mystic Pop-Up Bar. I haven't seen Princess Hours but as I know the general plot I'd recommend King2Hearts, it's a bit older one but has North/South Korea and South Korea being a monarchy plot.The actress Ha Ji Won also shone in Empress Ki where a Korean woman becomes the concubine of Emperor of China, another good sageuk. I'll shot up about dramas now.... EDIT: OK, I'm done watching. Really nice and correct vibes even if game objects are lacking. Good job with the back pillows for the beds too, and the use of screens. I have a lot of CC especially for Asian cultures so I'd probably indeed switch out the kotatsu and the study table for low functioning furniture and insert one high living chair (for the grandma and one floor pillow living chair for the grandchild in the living room. I've also lately downloaded a lot of CC foods so my asian save can have some authenticity.
