People just don't appreciate it because she's supposedly a "visual", but in fact she is exid's lead singer and her voice is not appreciated in exid songs as well.

no the voting is base on which song the audience likes more. the show reintroduces old songs and each team remakes the song and then the audiences votes to see which song they like more. in this episode they were against EXO and lost.
