It's crazy how composers actually have a measure of power over how you feel about what you're watching. Hans Zimmer is a master of big music, he can give you that swelling feeling in your chest that almost makes you want to cry, I cannot wait to be blown away by the soundtrack paired with the stunning cinematography from this series!

Thom Yorke might not be the best singer on Earth, but the music he performs with Radiohead is really good. It took me a while to really understand and appreciate their music. These guys are inhabited by their music. They are now one of my favourite bands. This music is a rework of a song of Radiohead, Ocean Bloom. So, without Radiohead, this music wouldn't exist ! But I understand your point of view, not a lot of people like Radiohead or understand their music !

The song just took me right out of the documentary content ... seemed very out of place. And the most consistent feeling I have about Radiohead is "Underwhelmed" ... Noah Hawley used one of their songs well in Legion though. So that's good ... And the greatest band of our time isn't Radiohead ... its Babymetal ... :-)

Don't worry, when I say it's the best band of our time, it's purely subjective, as everything in music ;) Well, when I looked at the video, it was for the music, not for the documentary, so I didn't really paid attention on this point, but I think the music of Hans Zimmer and the voice of Thom Yorke really fits with the big spaces of the oceans, where you just feel like you should open your mouth wide and breathe the fresh air... I don't know Babymetal, by the way. I should take a look I guess! ;)
