I love that Hans Zimmer reused part of the Pirates soundtrack(namely "He's a Pirate") from his work in Gladiator. A couple of the parts are identical. I realized while I was watching Gladiator and was like "wait, is this Pirates of the Carribean?"

My bro and I thought it had Gladiator vibes too (Klaus Badelt worked on Gladiator with Zimmer), but my mom thought she heard music from "The Rock" (which I'd blast around the house). That's true too (sort of like the Navy Seals theme). Then I was listening to "Asteroid Chase" (v=O6VnsUxtYyA) from Armageddon (produced by Zimmer), and heard the Pirates theme! Must be hard to put out dozens of movies a year and avoid accidentally retreading the same tunes! Especially when you get involved in the 11th hour when the previous composer was let go!

I was a bit scarred considering the ticket's price (which isn't cheap) and thinking it's just a concert, it doesn't last long, is it worth it? No matter where we come from, we're all going threw some difficult times and it got me so emotional to watch, and listen, and feel his music so deeply. If he ever performs close to where you are, you have to go.
