It takes a true master to use basically a simple few notes and elevates it into something spectacular and emotional. Hans Zimmer, maestro This is from the movie Inception from Nolan. They often work together, Dark knight too etc

Hans Zimmer is a genius. I can honestly say I've loved every one of his film scores. I noticed that Czarina Russell made an appearance in that video. She also appeared live singing Now We Are Free, which is another amazing live performance that I'd highly recommend. In fact, I'm heading to your Buy Me A Coffee page now to make it an official recommendation. Thanks for the reaction guys.

I was at the concert in Rotterdam. I literally cried 2x during 2 songs, for personal reasons, which i never did. The whole concert is Insanely good. Also features Tina Guo on cello, worldclass. She did stuff like Wonderwoman. Also does metal songs etc. worth a watch

This! That is one of my absolute favourite Zimmer songs(tied with Time and either Cornfield Chase or No Time For Cation)
@Jason-ly9zv6 ай бұрын
The song is about life. With the beginning so basic and comfortable with the moody progression representing growing up and thrown into the chaos of life …then, at the end it shows the regression into old age as the basic yet now ‘uncomfortable’ melancholic tone. Then silence. Masterpiece.
@WelshAmethystGirl08710 ай бұрын
I am a huge hans zimmer fan, he has written some amazing gorgeous pieces of music. The way his mind works is another level I think it helps that he learnt to play like every instrument. He also did an amazing pirates of the caribbean medley as he composed the music for that movie too. He is a legend

I am so glad you chose to listen and view Hans Zimmer after you reviewed "The Good, Bad and Ugly" theme. I know both of you love Pink Floyd's "Pulse" tour performance, well Hans Zimmer's "Live In Prague" is just as good. I encourage you to explore the entire performance from that concert. It's top notch music and I think similar to Pink Floyd's mastery of emotion. Pirates of the Caribbean, Dark Knight or Chevaliers de Sangreal (Da Vinci Code) show off the entire orchestra and choir.

Ah only now I saw that you did that already l. One of the most moving music pieces in the human history. And for those who saw the movie it can be even more. But then comes a moment in a live last year where Hans introduced a video in the screen before the song with a guy playing a cover of it in a Ukrainian public place while listening to war sirens. I can't imagine somebody being with completely dry eyes in that stadium.

My favorite part about this performance, Hans starts solo, almost by himself in silence. Then he carries himself up to the top of the mountain for all to notice. Then he comes back down to be by himself again. Almost like someone who is calling for attention, to be noticed. Though once they have that attention and had enough of it, they want to be back down by themselves.

*The funny thing is that this is music written for a film and just the real Grandmasters write such music, which don't need the movie to sound great. There are composers, who write good film scores, but in the second you can't see the pictures anymore, the music alone can not stand for itself. But Grandmasters like Hans Zimmer, Ennio Morricone, Klaus Badelt, Jerry Goldsmith, David Arnold, Marco Beltrami, Randy Edelman, Michael Kamen, Joseph LoDuca, John Powell, Basil Poledouris, Trevor Rabin, Geoff Zanelli, Steve Jablonsky are famous for writing not just great scores for films, but also great music, which does not need the pictures of the movie to sound great, at the same time.* 📀📽🔥🎵🎹💿🔊 😈❤🔥

Hi Dominika. Hmm, that's weird. Now it's gone. I put in in your first unboxing vid comments because I hoped you might see it. (there being only a few comments.) All I wanted to ask was, have you guys seen Kasey Chambers performing Eminem 's Lose yourself? Andrei loves rap, and I presume he knows the song, so this one will interest him. (And you, but I don't want to give too much away) Kasey is a country / bluegrass singer, and she performs this with a banjo. The clip is going viral, and one reactor already has 150k views. You must watch the whole vid. You will be astonished. I'm not trying to jump queues, but this is really worth a look. Right up your street. Cheers from Oz. Archie says woof! BTW, just to inform you, Kasey loves Eminem, and this song also tells the story of her life and struggles. The concert was professionally recorded, but she had no video, so requested concert goers send in phone footage, and the result is an artistic montage of her performance, even if some quality issues exist.@@MerchantOfAlba

IMO, Zimmer is one of the few people on the Holopainen's level, their music is perfect for my ears. Inception isn't DiCaprio movie, but Nolan's. He is just an actor who could be played by anyone else, don't skip it on bias :). I really recommend the movie.

Try “What’s Eating Gilbert Grape,” “Shutter Island,” “The Revenant” or “Inception.” He has many more awesome movies. He is truly an American gem of an actor, who harkens back to the old days of Hollywood. He is a superb actor.
