I did not do sound on this video. Please see description. I rescued this interview from Collider back in 2010, which has now long been deleted. If it wasn't for this presentation, this interview wouldn't be online.

Just wanted to say thank you for salvaging this interview, there is some fascinating information in it. Thanks also for the description of the audio issues. I know how annoying it is to have people fly past a clear explanation to berate you for something they could answer for themselves with 5 seconds of reading. The information was what mattered, so thanks again for saving this.

Thank you Alex. Much appreciated. :) BTW- I love your channel, great gear collection and a great historical perspective as well. Let’s look into those Rick Astley sounds, the world is waiting for that! ;)

I know that the quality of the video isn't perfect but I really enjoyed the video, you made a great effort uploading this on YT. Thank you for this historical interview. This video has a lot of topics that Hans don't tell in other interviews. Really like it

Your chance to interview Hans Zimmer and you get the intern to record audio and video. You are lucky you got the responses that you did from him. Next time try to augment that moment, not ruin it.

Good interview, but I disagree about Avatar's music not standing out in the score. There were some great themes in that film (I am not talking about the song at the end which was deliberately a cliche of the one in titanic lol) and the electronics weren't really used in the same way as Zimmer's, but they were just as good e.g the music that plays during the scene where Jake is first in his Avatar body- which has all these great chord changes where you don't expect which both Horner and Zimmer do quite well.
