In 1998 or so, who could have ever imagined Hanson being interviewed by a former member of The Sex Pistols?

I like the keyboard players playing and his vocals are pretty good! So these guys have moved beyond mmbop and disposable pop into more of an R and B style which sounds really good! Keep going young Dudes! Damn Good cover of Sam and Dave’s Hold On I’m Coming!

Not gonna lie, I think I love Taylor on Blue Christmas even more than the original :) In fact, he always seems to do Elvis covers ridiculously well! His solo version of Love Me is amazing: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hpuVlYKtmbGsjMU

This guys have talent! I like that they play their instruments like a real musician should. In today’s faked vocals and samples and loops its good to hear younger musicians sing and play for real. But apparently that doesn’t really pay off these days because their music isn’t exactly lighting up the charts. It appears nobody cares! Oh well, maybe they’ll have a hit song come out of the blue or something and they’ll get some recognition. Mmbop didn’t help them much. I like these guys though! I hope they keep going! Because it takes years to really develop into something good! I hope they make it! They’re still very young and have time!

Hanson are better musicians and songwriters than many more modern respected rock musicians of today. Dave Grohl for example. They have that classic musicianship about them. They're great at the craft of pop rock, whatever genre you wanna call it songwriting.

23:40 Full satisfaction.. Yeah.. What a jerk off.. They have zero relevance today.. I forgot they even existed until now and I'm big time into music. I was tragically made aware of them in 1997 with HmmBop and then that other crap Where's the love because it kept appearing on MTV.. Isaac coming in with his real badass section.. Even at the time I cringed at the lyrics.. I am cringing right now. Dark clouds all around, lightning, rain pouring down Waiting for the bright light to break through Face down on the ground Pick us up at the lost and found We've got to change our point of view if we want the sky blue

Relevance? Your response is like asking a movie critic who gave a movie 1 star out of 5 whether they are a movie director or producer.

@JohnEdwardBerry6 жыл бұрын
sorry but its crappy poppy music.
@stephaniel28506 жыл бұрын
How so? They're pop, sure, but pop much more in the vein of motown, the Beatles, and classic popular rock 'n' roll than the "bubblegum pop" that they got lumped into starting out. Just because they're melodic and soulful as opposed to hard rock or super alternative in sound, that in no way makes them "crappy pop". Not that I'm a hater of all top 40 pop, but just saying.. people misunderstood Hanson from the start. They were always far more Jackson 5/motown inspired than bubblegum. Would you call Jackson 5 "crappy pop"?
