That's because when some British people listen to or interact with non British people, we all pull the same "I cant believe you said that moronic shit" face. If some others were not such morons, they might get a different expression. A bit like the expressionless look you get on say, some oriental faces. the 2 robots Hanson Robotics have made are Han and Sophia. Han first then Sophia. Coincidentally, Han then “So” (from sophia) make up the first 5 letters of the company. Leaving one letter left which is N. N just needs a d at the end to sound like the word “end”. maybe im just high though 😂

It's amazing to compare the prototype and R&D era robotics to the upgrade first production model's to highlight the rapid progress of the state of the technology though. The Sophia 2020 upgrade demo is fascinating , particularly the hand dexterity and improved visual capabilities. The self charging maneuverable mobility base with obstacle detection is a markedly noticeable improvement over the previous awkward design.

I wonder if I should fear human misbehavior more than robot misadventure. We make these things and we can program them to like, respect, and serve us. Looking at the responses on pages like this, it is clear that most people don't know the first law of robotics: "Robots can't hurt humans."
