Hantek CC-65 Failure & Repair

Same issue with switch sliding "ON" in storage and dead battery...solved with a wide rubber band over switch after use...no problem since, Ian Both CC-65 and CC-650 are fine for the price.

Like I have said before Denis that’s why I hang out with you! 😀 And totally agree I have quite a few Hantek products, great value (In fact I have one on a slow boat right now) Not sure why for literally a few pennies they wouldn’t implement a some product improvements. Nice repair mate....no parts required 😁😁 I like to put a dab of hot glue on tight bends like that, nothing special just regular old glue sticks, pile it up, gives a great cushion for the wires.... Cheers J

That looks like something I'll have to watch out for, nice repair. Do you find the cable length from new is a little short, there are times I have had to use an extension cable. Thanks for showing the repair 👍

Mechanic Matt Hi Matt. Yes 100% agree. Now it’s a couple inches shorter still! Need to buy a coax extension. Strain relief...a few pennies, stiffer switch....a few pennies, longer coax cable ...a few more pennies. Why Hantek why? Charge an extra Pound/Dollar or two. Mind boggling! Cheers Matt
