Itu bukan sungai, tapi selat (straits). 'Jambatan' itu adalah tambak (causeway). Kalau jambatan, kapal boleh lalu di bawah, tapi kalau tambak tidak boleh lalu kerana air lautnya telah disekat dari dasar laut.
