The best figure yet from this manufacturer. And agree, the paint apps here are outstanding. I prefer the green and will probably place an order tonight. Great review.

I disagree. It has one important inaccuracy, it has hornlets. Unfortunately that makes it a dealbreaker for me

@@AndyCog_1710 I get that and agree to an extent. But set on a high shelf with a wood base I won’t see the error-unlike a shitty paint job (Eofauna) or a big sloppily painted theropod over-bite (PNSO), both of which are deal breakers for me. In the end they are just toys not museum pieces. I’ll overlook a bit of inaccuracy in a generally well presented figure.

@@williamneill5441 how bad inaccuracies are are subjective (which is fine). Most Haolonggood figures have one inaccuracy here and there, but I think a lot could be considered trivial (even if this is subjective). The Maiasaura having hornlets is a big inaccuracy in my book, so that breaks the deal for me. Wild Past’s Maiasaura was looking great, and to this date the Battat still reigns supreme as far as accuracy goes.

@@AndyCog_1710 we all have our threshold lol. For me the omission of hornless on this particular figure is acceptable. On the flip side, had hornlets been included and then slopped with bright unrealistic paint (which I can absolutely see happening), that would have broke the deal for me. It’s still a very well sculpted and painted toy. And I stand by original statement-the best yet by this manufacturer.

I’ve been meaning to get into these, and this one will probably be my first from the company. Maiasaura is just too iconic to pass up, and these are gorgeous pieces.

This does have an inaccuracy; it lacks the brow ridge. Very minor complaint though, this is a brilliant figure and the baby is so damn adorable. About time we got a nice accurate(ish) Maia though.

Shows one thing nicely. PNSO is overpriced for the West. :D
