I see the technique. It’s not original hapkido from Chei, Young-Sool but it’s a variant like the technique from Ji-Han Jea. My master always felt if it wasn’t hapkido from Chang Young-Shil it wasn’t real hapkido. He never could accept some people wanted to probably add and take away stuff.

@@alessiopelusocoach um my master, Jeff Allen studied under Chang, Young-Shil who was assistant instructor to Bang Soo-Han, I know exactly what I’m talking about when it comes to hapkido or Hapkiyoosool.

I even taught when I was a Marine deployed to Afghanistan along side Hal Whalen who studied under Ji Han-Jae, he told me ji han-Jae says he named the art but Choi-young-sool founded the technique. I saw Hal Whalen’s technique and it was COMPLETELY different from the technique taught by Jeff Allen.
