2 black guys invaded my house with guns. Hapkido saved my life. I'm a 158 cm tall Korean-american woman about 53-55 kg. They took nothing, but ended up pistol whipping me so I had to get stitches to stop the bleeding. I haven't practiced hapkido in 18 yrs, but it came naturally. Going back to training.

No, my mom was also there. The one guy pushed my mom down and went upstairs ransacking my stuff looking for money. My mom was being treated for pancreatic cancer. I got pissed off, then attacked the first guy who was supposed to keep us quiet. I tried to take the gun away from him using the hapkido breaks. He struggled not to lose his gun. I wanted to grab him by the pressure point, it was so open, I could have made him pass out by blocking his air ducts... His friend came down stairs, pistol whipped me from behind. I fell, and they & ran out of the house.

Nice video👊😎👍. Many Koreans learn Hapkido as well as Taekwondo. Movie star Jakie Chan has also Hapkido black belt and he learned Hapkido from grandmaster Whang Ing Sik in Seoul. Korean police should pass Hapkido test periodically.

***** well, yeah, my point is that in EVERY weapon-demonstration, the attacker does weird shit that no normal person would do (nobody will run at you with the knife high above his head), hence the demonstration is stupid, since it doesn't work

Hapkido needs to stop with the stupid demos. Theyre ineffective and fake. Its why so many people shun it. I want to see hapkido in mma but until it becomes more realistic it wont happen!
