HAPPENING, by Annie Ernaux | Book Review

Here in Brazil we only have three books by Ernaux, translated to portuguese: "Os Anos"/"The Years", "Paixão Simples"/"Simple Passion" and "O Lugar"/"A Man´s Place". I´ve read all of them and they are such gems. The way you talked about "Happening" was so great, perhaps i´ll buy it in the Fitzcarraldo edition : )

Interesting! I wonder why Happening hasn't been translated yet? It's definitely not her most popular, but I think it's wonderful! Glad to see another Ernaux fan!!

She won the Nobel Prize after getting this news I started to scroll the KZbin For quenching my thirst of Knowing more about her and after watching this video I'm speechless. Adorable writing. Thank you sir making this wonderful review.
