Track Lifting at Pontywaun

the whole site is now overgrown, the bridge the track at 0:34 runs under has been filled in, the footbridge is still there but now has been closed so a small foot crossing to Halls Road Terrace was built, only a small portion of track remains where the footbridge is. Shame that the line was not kept open and diverted to Blackwood where the new road bridge was built.

This could have been turned into a new passenger service. We should be preserving our railways for use not closing them.
