After thinking a lot, I went with RE Meteor 350 supernova. Meteor 350 has better mileage, bigger fuel tank, more comfortable seats, no waiting period, better looks and I’d to pay ₹60,000 lesser. The only point in favour of X440: You can cruise X440 at 110-115 Kmph without stressing the engine while the same for Meteor 350 is 90-100 kmph.

I am a proud owner of Harley Davidson X440 top variant. It looks stunning. More impressive than Speed 400 or Scramblar 400X. I was inclined towards Speed 400 & 400X but my opinion changed after looking in person and test ride of all the three bikes. My views are more or less similar to your review Akshat. I don't know why many youtubers were saying not so good words about this bike. That's the reason I was preferring Triumph. But my opinion changed after in person impression. I ❤ X440

The Bike . The build, The Sound, Road comfort is absolutely fantastic. The only problem is it looks like Harley was a one night stand for Hero Motor crop. It has been more than 3 weeks and they have not received a bill to send vehicle to RTO FOR REGISTRATION. The Harley call Center only receives calls and informs u to email . Once u email it reaches the no man’s land. When u follow up with the call center they inform they ain’t got no access to email. So u send another email then contact dealer. Then start from call the call centre then they inform u to send email then go to dealership etc. even the Bluetooth app refuses to show on ur phone. U write to India or Milwaukee u ain’t gonna get a reply. Anyway I have left it to Harley to get it registered

During Spiti circuit i have experienced various tough terrains and extreme off-roading conditions and the bike performed exceptionally well...the only problem is with the service, the Hero personnel are not very good with the problems occurring in the bike.

The side holders for pillion are not metal. I have got backrest with top rack installed, I had to remove the Pillion Side holders, they sound like metal but are actually alloy, once taken out have a look at the back side where the nut goes. Apart from eSim features; call connect, Turn by turn navigation are available from base variant.

Hey Akshat, There are two things I wanted to check with you. I have the top variant and: 1. Immobilizer is disabled on the app. Did you get any info from harley guys on when it’ll be on again? The Hero premia showroom in my city says that there are connectivity issues due to airtel e-sim and someone had to get their bike towed from ladakh as it was immobilised there with no signal. Hence they disabled it. 2. The iPhone connectivity of my bike is still really bad. Navigation is glitchy, disconnects mid drive, phone calls come up after dropping and then back button is unresponsive, music controls also do not work. I just wanted to check if this is the case with your x440 too. Or was there any software update on the console that fixed it? Service guys say there is no update for the console, but they acknowledge the issue and mention that the developers are working to fix it, but to no vain till now.

i am facing the 2nd issue with my bike too, Sometimes the music control or calls come and sometimes suddenly vanish from the console, i’m yet to try the navigation. When i approached the harley guys for the above issue they said it will take time as its software issue and with time it will get updated.
