- "A pinky promise shifted one to the right" is suuuuch a cute line. - Bedtime story is such a cute fun song. - Alchemical Romance is adorable, a great depiction of "too good to be true" train of intrusive thoughts you get sometimes - "I'd rather fight crime than your mind when you're mind's made up" is such a vibe. - Fan Fiction made me cry. I remembered a lot of things that I had forgotten. Goddamn Bug how do you capture these specific vibes so nicely in the lyrics?? - One Armed Hug is a comfy treat to end the album with. Loooved the Album, man! It had everything I like in your work - comfy, adorkable, cheesy, and those specific-af-but-relatable-af vibes. Once again you have made me burst up into smiles, giggles, and tears.

This album was absolutely outstanding! The lyrics were so cleverly crafted and the vocals shifting depending on the mood or the character was done so well. I have to mention how stunning the instrumentation was on this album. I think every song I was shocked, touched, and in love with the way the instrumentals worked with the lyrics and how carefully and lovingly put together they were. I've been sort of sitting in the background of the community, silently loving and identifying with your songs sense your first album and I am so happy to see how much you've grown, and I can't wait to listen to this album an ungodly amount of times. I guess the best way to describe this is to paraphrase what I told my friends while pushing them to listen to this as well. I missed when this was first posted, but I've been listening to this album and, over the past couple hours, I've genuinely fallen in love with Bug Hunter again. Each song is full of story, of sweetness, melancholy, mystery and love, the tales and tribulations playing like a bow across the violin strings of my heart. Music has long been one of my best friends, and you've definitely made me fall in love with it again! If anyone likes storytelling music, full of humour and sappy emotions, I would recommend stealing a listen.

Wow, I already commented once but holy crap this is amazing. Each and every song is just an excellent balancing act between writing a good song and telling a good story. My only real comment is that it feels like every song except one armed hug and maybe platonic best friend are tied together with a bittersweet note of the ending not being quite happy, they get close on a few of them but they all have a catch (hahaha)

All of these are fantastic and while relistening to the already released songs I keep noticing new stuff, like in Shocking Plot Twist you say that Harrison “Prayed/Preyed every day” and I hadn’t noticed the pun before but now I even see that the a/e is covered over with a planet so it’s hard to tell even reading along, except your a’s have tails so if you look closely it’s obviously an e.

there are so many songs i didn't hear when this album came out and some of them are new favorites(shocking plot twist tickles my brain). i have been curious for over a year now if there was an advent that sparked the inspiration for this album since all the songs are so packed with emotion weather subtle or obvious. don't expect any answer just a big fan and thought I'd comment!
