The MODEL:02 comes with a 303 emulation preset made by yours truly, complete with functioning accent circuit, and I do think it sounds quite good :) but it's hard to give up on the real thing!

It's an empress bass compressor. The 303's filter has some pretty extreme changes in volume depending on how high the resonance pot is set, so a compressor is used to help balance that out. I consider compression an essential tool for making the 303 sit nicely in any mix

Love this so much. When you do the dual m8 + mono synth, are you just sending midi to the 303? Or cc of any kind?

Midi notes for pitch and slide + velocity for accent controls only! No point to automate the fun part :)

I’m blown away by the quality and sincerety of your work. A good buddy of mine sent me your video today and here I am. Liked and Subbed and I look forward to exploring more of what you have to offer. I skimmed through the mix but will jam it in its entirety during some iron sessions in the future - not sure if I heard any DnB (I did hear one fast one, but it was more happy hardcore sounding)… my point is that, I think you covered most if not all the major food groups in one fell swoop which is most impressive imo.
