Happy 34th birthday to the classic Sega Genesis! Just a few days ago, we said Happy Birthday to the iconic system! The Sega Genesis is a 16-bit 4th generation home video game console developed & sold by Sega. It was Sega's third console & the successor to the Master System. Sega released it in 1988 in Japan as the Mega Drive, & in 1989 in North America as the Genesis. It was in direct competition with the Super Nintendo. It's given us some classic games, & over the years, communities like this & others have kept the console alive by developing rom hacks, creating homebrews, & releasing aftermarket games. I didn't even think about Yoshi in Sonic 2, but that is really cute! Instead of just sticking in Yoshi sprites, they went all out and put in baby Sonic and Knuckles! The eggs function too?!? That's just too cool! Awesome lineup!

1st off, apologies on the different vid. I had to edit it, because I didn't shut down the stream last night so it was going for several hours. But yes! it's in my top picks! They did such an incredible job placing Yoshi in, altering the levels & bosses to fit Yoshi, + being able to fully place in his smw2 mechanics,, It's like Yoshi was meant to be a part of the game in the 1st place!
