To the younger crowd wondering why Cheech and Chong referred to that joint as a quarter pounder ( and it looked a lot lighter ) was because back in the 1970’s and 1980’s when you bought a quarter pound a large portion of the weight was seeds .( I used to pay $400.00 for a pound and de-seed it using a library card and an album cover , I’d end up pulling over 4 ounces of seeds out of it )…. Oh,… an album cover ,…that was a 16 inch by 16 inch cardboard jacket that you slid an album into ( a round plastic thing that you dropped the needle of a stereo on and played music from )
