I can relate to Troy's lack of interest in further learning. I went to uni as a mature student in the 90s, having done umpteen college courses beforehand, but after graduating I also lost all interest and haven't been near a learning institute of any kind since.

I sent in the call about the Doctor Who society and I’m in Ontario, Canada! DW isn’t that popular over here, most people I talk to haven’t heard of it, so I got really lucky finding this group. We also hold Dalek building activities and we have a troupe of Daleks we bring to cons in the area (plus a TARDIS)!

I forgot to submit mine :( but my fave Doctor Who moment was that my brother, my friend Brooke (who was the person to introduce us both to DW) and I went to a cinema showing of The Return of Doctor Mysterio. My brother and I went in costume as 11th and 4th doctors respectively (I still have the hat and the coat!) and there was a grand total of five people in the entire theatre and it was lovely.
