After all these years of searching and I think 10 98% meltans I FINALLY got the hundo from the research encounters! I'm so stoked to finally have it! I wish I had more people to trade with I have so many people on my friends list that are either online friends or people that I haven't seen in person in over a year that I am lucky friends with and I just cant clear them out. I wish you could just get rid of the lucky friend status so you could save it for someone you could actually trade with.

I really liked the field research for komala and whatever the other ones were for that sleepy event (hey, it's been weeks, I'm only human lol). The tasks were everywhere and easy to do, so I could just wander around spinning stops and catching, and not worrying too much about whether the reward would be the mon I wanted. So my message to Niantic is: more like this, please! Compare that to the next event, where I wanted the crabrawler tasks, but I didn't want to spend more dust than I had to. For that I was stacking three power-up tasks so I could get three checks for one set of power-ups, or stacking three raid tasks so I could just knock out one raid with my free pass and get max shiny checks that way. Repeatedly spinning stops and hardly ever finding the tasks I wanted was really demotivating, even with my community calling out any that they found. I'm sure I spent way more time walking around and playing when I was looking for komala than for crabby. I got the shiny komala and a slakoth, but I didn't get the crabrawler. oh, yeah, birthday event, that's what this video is about, haha. Not very excited, tbh. Starters, starters, starters, I can see why we have starters, but, meh. Good chance for newer players to get the hats, I guess. It would have been a nice gesture to let people evolve starters for comm day moves. I do plan to run meltan boxes every day, and maybe this time I'll get a decent shiny!

You can just battle with Blanche, candela or spark for the buddy hearts too and that way you won’t have to potion up the Pokemon afterwards

I will admit that all of the fiend research being starters is kinda boring. At this point I dont even bother with starters unless it's a community day. They could have picked a bunch of pokemon with 8 in their dex number (and really they should have brought back Zacian since it is #888 in the dex). I feel like starters are featured SO MUCH in events that its not even worth it. They would have put the Raticate, Nidorino, Wurmple and Wobbuffet in the field research since they aren't in raids or anything this time around.

If people care about the battle with your buddy heart. one strategy i like to use is put my buddy somewhere in the party when taking over a gym. if you have to take one pokemon down multiple times or have like 3 pokemons to defeat itll get you all 3 hearts straight away.

I think the camera works really well. If nothing else, I would use it when you are traveling and out and about since it is lighter. I saw your set up at last go fest and my arms whimpered in sympathy.

What most suitable to celebrate Pokemon Go 8th anniversary? Generation 8 starters makes them debut in Pokemon Go will be best suits to celebrate Pokemon Go 8th anniversary but Niantic totally make us thumbs down👎. Since Grimmer is a dirty Pokemon when Grimmer wear party hat subsequently causing party hats dirty too..
