@@marielonsdale1765 Barry was never a Bully! He was just older & the record company chose who's song was side A & who's was on side B. Barry would be hurt to think that people aren't aware of how much he loved & respected their talent. There were a time they had solo careers. Andy the youngest brother was also very talented. As a matter of fact one song Barry wrote but didn't want to record it Andy made it a #1 HIT! Their children are still close to uncle Barry and perform with him! Please don't think the twins were robbed of their own time to shine.

I agree with all of that. And I know they loved each other too much. But I also agree that Maurice was underestimated. Robin and Barry disputed the supremacy and Maurice (light and gentle soul) kept out of the dispute. I loved Maurice from the first moment I saw him. Great musician. Beautiful voice, sweet like him.

What a Beautiful voice Mo had, he should have taken lead vocal more often ..Barry did rather dominate the group..Robin had such a haunting voice too. Both will be sadly missed ...thank you for posting such lovely pictures of the twins. What a loss to the music industry...RIP Maurice and Robin Gibb.

Jane Lloyd For me it was Robins voice and their harmonies that won me over to the Bee Gees. When watching some of their concerts it is Barrys lead vocal about 85% of the complete concert, and the falsetto is not my cup of tea. I so agree with you that the twins beautiful natural voices should have been heard much more.

Jane Lloyd - I think so too, but Barry is the band leader, he made the decision (well). Maurice's voice and singing of her unique Irish singing song was great. I like.

Many still feel the loss of these two brilliant musicians - and probably will until the Earth turns over. Very sad💔 I'm glad that I at least got to meet them and their brother Barry backstage at the ONE' tour in 89. I will always cherish that memory💕💝💖

I met Maurice back in the early 70's...such a polite man...he said, love that long black hair( I always kept my hair waist length)...so sadly missed, RIP MAURICE, ROBIN, ANDY (my niece liked Andy)...along wth. Mr. & Mrs Gibb, so glad that Barry is still wth. us...Samantha, Robin, Stephen, & all the rest, God Bless.
