Jason- that is a perfect description of the emotions that run through some of us at these shows. I was there for both LA shows, so your audience can be sure, IF they harbored any doubt, this was an accurate description of the vibe in the Arena those two wonderful nights.

Amazing you were there also 👍 I miss seeing them indoors. Really one of their best tours. LA#2 was really one for the books

@@HangFireStonesPodcast Of the 4 50 & Counting shows I attended, I still love the guitar sound we got from the May18th show in Anaheim, CA! Funny how we cherish seeing the Stones in an Arena and consider it a smaller gig!( It is for them now). I also have to express my love of The 1999 North American No Security tour. It was fantastic and energetic for sure. The shows at the small MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas 1994 onward were always outstanding and more 'intimate'.

So awesome! Thanks for sharing!! I love Ronnie but the Mick Taylor years were when I was first introduced to the Stones That was 1972 and I was 9. Friends of my parents had 7 kids (big Irish family) and they asked each of their friends to watch one of their kids so they could finally take a little vacation just for themselves. We got their oldest, John, who was a teenager. He brought his guitar and a stack of albums. Hot Rocks was one of them and as soon as I heard it, I was hooked right away. I didn’t like the first disc as much (earlier recordings), but absolutely loved the second with Honky Tonk Women, Jumping Jack Flash, etc. They have been my favorite band ever since!

1:48 Fantastic your "stoner history". I am a fan since 1977 when I was 12 years old until now... until the day of my death. The Stones is the way of life that I preffer to live! Stones best band of the world forever!!! 😎✌

Cool. Yeah I saw Taylor join the Stones at the second Chicago show that year, and it was great. Especially so because even though it was 7th time seeing them, it was my first time seeing them do Rambler live, with Taylor to boot. A studio props to Taylor is his guitar work on 100 Years is my fave thing of his. Sublime playing with what sounds like a double tracked wah solo during the apex of that song.

Wonderful video you took. I think Mick Taylor is a great player but one thing I do dislike is how some people throw Ronnie under the bus and say he's no Mick Taylor. No he's not Mick Taylor,he has his own style.

Finally catching up on your videos Justin - this one is beyond awesome! Mick Taylor's solo work is the best around. He doesn't have to have any histrionics. The way Ronnie, Keith, Mick, and Darryl huddled (sort of) at the end of Can't You Hear Me Knocking just shows how well they could interact. I'm glad you were able to catch Mick's hand work with and without the slide. I think his right hand is interesting because Mick does a bit of hybrid picking. He's not strictly a flat picker. Jaw dropping work all around, I'm sure. Thanks for sharing. Very cool!

I know there are more albums in the oven for the glimmers, but if they ever plan to do a fair well tour,I would love to see the glimmers with Woody, Taylor and Wyman, with at least one lead vocal tune from Woody and Taylor fro their solo albums and Wyman singing" in another land" , ...with Darryl on Bass, and the new Engine Jordan on Skins...Chuck on keys...no brass....that concert would be an experience beyond heaven for me..already having wet dreams about it..rant over...btw..nice video as always Justin bro...( With guest surprise Marianne faithful on as tears go by tune)..Glimmers doing backing vocals with no Bernard )
