Hi Mona, I feel you and your struggles being type 1 Diabetic. I was diagnosed at age 17 and has been a struggle since then... I had so many episodes of diabetic coma as well.. I see that you are using a Medtronic pump. I used that too and I liked it. What may help you have a better monitor of your sugar and reduce the episode of the hypoglycemia if you don't have it yet is to also get a CGM with the Medtronic pump. The Medtronic minimed 670 that I used came with CGM ( continuous glucomonitor) and it is linked via bluetooth on your Medtronic. Your endocrinologist can help you adjust the settings of the conversion of all the insulin and carb ratio correction you need. I wish you well and just stay strong girl.. we can do it. I am now 38 and blessed with 2boys. The battle with diabetes is still on but it gets better with healthier lifestyle.. Best regards and praying for you.

When I was 8 yrs old Mona, I saw my self drowning. Nahulog kasi ako sa well. Nakikita kong may lumalabas nang bubbles sa bibig at ilong ko. When I look up , may kamay na nag reach out. Thinking I’d be save, I reached out too. Pero nung mahahakan ko na yung kamay na yun, biglang nawala. The next thing I know, hinihila na ako nung may-ari nang well. Yes, nireject then ako ni God nun’. Kung naabot ko kamay nya’ sguro wala na ako ngayon. But it wasn’t my time yet. To you Mona, sana gumaling ka na. God bless.
