Happy Birthday! - Nation Lakes by canoe EPISODE 8

This is episode 8 in the story of three Dutch guys (and a dog!), their friendship and a plan that took the better part of a decade to come together. We went on a two week canoe trip on the Nation Lakes in BC, Canada.
And the kicker?
On the day of our departure most of us didn't know we were going on this adventure!
In this episode we take a rest day and treat ourselves to a fancy breakfast (yes, pancakes are fancy in the back country!) because a birthday needs celebrating and spend a day recovering from the hard paddle the day before.
We then take off for the last stretch of the Nation River, which is very beautiful, to arrive at Chuchi Lake, the last lake of the Nation River Canoe Route.
