I don’t think this qualifies as co parenting. The kid will be so confused as to why she has to be with two parents for some days and then some days with just mom. In co parenting it’s important to have good boundaries. That does not mean you should not be nice or should be rude. You can be polite and pleasant while keeping healthy boundaries. Going on trips or vacations together does not count as healthy boundaries 😢. You should definitely let the kid go and if the child is too young and needs you close by because you are the primary care giver, then stay in a near by hotel or something and be there when needed urgently. That allows the kids develop healthy relationships with the rest of the family.
