Why ? I know many families who have only one child + each of those children have grown up to be compassionate, empathetic, helpful, considerate, kind hearted adults. Not one of the 13 children who are in single children families are spoilt with materialistic things, in fact some have much less than their friends who have several siblings. These children have been brought up with manners, values, integrity, chores and only get pocket money for doing extra specific chores. Unlike the families who have several children. The families I know with 2,3,5,9, etc children, all seem to do more for their children, as in the parents make the kids beds, give them pocket money regardless of chores etc. Also, the ones without siblings, seem to be able to socialize well with kids their own age as well as engage respectfully in adult conversations when it's appropriate to.

@@pollyanna1112 Why are you attacking me? I was an only child and I agree with all the attributes you listed for an only.child. I have had a wonderful 73 years. On the other hand, I chose to have a large family and my husband and I had 5 children. I would have to write a novella to show the joy of our growing family. It was happy chaos and all my adult children are responsible, kind, and well adjusted. My Grandchildren adore me unconditionally and are always around. Next month I will become a Great Grandmother. .So please understand I have lived both sides and either choice is fine. I'm sure there are many who "baby watch" for Beatrice. I just question your attacking me for an innocent remark.

Totally UNTRUE. If by some remote chance there was the slightest element of truth to this, without a doubt, her mother and father would publically announce it and they'd become advocates on the medical boards etc to help promote inclusivity, improve research, to advance screening tests, to promote lifestyle occupational therapy etc. People make up such rumours simply because they haven't seen the face of a child. Please, do not believe it and try to dispel it whenever you hear others suggest it. If she was your child, I'm sure you wouldn't want strangers speculating your child had some sort of challenge ahead of her

What's wrong with little Sienna's dress ? It's a sweet pretty little girls dress, feminine, comfortable looking, would suit any occassion. I'd rather see a two year old girl dressed in this pretty dress than see her dressed in leggings or jeans or an off the shoulder ensemble. This dress is a classic style.
