I only just found this channel the other day. Someone suggested asking a question or two about Old Irish here. Then I saw your video response to Brian about becoming a practitioner in America and forging an appropriate relationship with the Irish deities, which spoke to me as someone about a quarter each Scottish and Irish by descent (but more familiar with the Scottish parts of my heritage), looking to forge new connections with that heritage. And now, it's your birthday... and you've given me, 8 years your senior and then some, a gift of perspective. A reminder that I am unique. I am magical. I am privileged to be growing old in a society that makes life exceedingly difficult for neurodivergent people assigned male at birth who are gender-nonconforming. Thank you. Happy birthday! Hope you have a great day! I'm sorry about your friends. I lost my best friend when I was a child and I alway wonder how his life would have been if he got to grow up. In my 40+ years Ive had a few class mates die; suicide, health, drugs, and car accidents. And it always seems harder to deal with because they all had so much more life to live. I try not to dwell on it and just pray to the goddess that they find forgiveness and peace.

It's some hard work to transform those experiences and that denial of emotion into balance and health. Celebrate yourself for doing so! -- and I hope the year to come is blessed with joy and peace of mind. Brilliant video. I've watched many of Lora's but this is my first for yours. Happy birthday to a fellow Leo! Mine was the 14th of August. I just turned 37. I am so happy to have met you! I got to talk to you during the last IPS hang out. I told you then that I'm a counselor. Everything you said about mental health struggles really resonates. I am so glad that you are actively working to heal yourself! Through that you are also able to help others. Keep speaking out. On another note, I am a follow of Brigid. I encountered her in a vision years ago and I've only recently began to fully embrace and develop that relationship. I think I may be interested in getting to know the Dagda as well. It may help me heal from the complicated relationship I have with my own dad. I love him, don't get me wrong. He is an active alcoholic and despite 2 stints in rehab and some experience with sobriety, he has currently made the choice to drink again and refuses to get help again. He nearly died earlier this year and miraculously survived. And still he went back to old ways. I've been struggling with that. I can't change others, but I can take charge of my own healing. I'm working on it. Harder than I ever had. Total self-care overhaul. Im on month 4 of losing weight, working out, eating right, all the things. Now I'm working harder on mental and spiritual health. Thank you so much for sharing your story and encouragement. I needed to hear it today.
