I don’t think a traditional Tibetan birthday song exists because from my observation birthday weren’t much of a big deal among the older generation. Many Tibetans among the older generation don’t know their exact birthdates. Since, celebrating birthday is a new practice as to my knowledge no traditional Tibetan birthday exist. This song does samples the original English birthday song’s background music but the lyrics are different and as Tibetan as it could be.
