I can’t help but cry hearing her stories because I can relate to that. The hardest decision to make is to leave your kids and be separated to get a better life. Naalala ko tuloy the first time na umalis ako to work abroad, my kids were 2 and 8 yrs old. Nung nagpaalam ako, I was strong and didn’t show to my kids na mahina ako and made them sure na everything’s gonna be ok. I still remember the look of my daughter, she was studying looking at her notes but I can see her tears falling 😭 and just don’t want to show me. Pagdating ko sa car ko, dun bumuhos ang iyak ko and I was crying the whole time while driving to airport. I told myself, this is temporary only and I know I will be with them in the future. Now, we are all together at napalaki ko sila ng maayos. I taught them what real life is and always choose to be a good person. Same with Nanay, happy endings after all the sacrifices 😊

Naiyak ako 😢 I was only 16 y/o when my mom passed away and I’m also gay like meme 😢 In less than a year, nagkaron ng bagong karelasyon tatay ko at bumukod sila. Everytime I watched videos like this, like "mother & daughter" hindi ko maitago na mainggit. Because we lost our mom 2yrs ago. Nakakamiss yung ganitong bonding namin. Chikahan lang pero sobrang worth it 🥺

Growing up not being able to be guided by your mom(single mom), i can really relate to Meme’s sentiments. My mom used to work abroad because we aren’t fortunate enough. She went there just to provide us what we need, to make us go to school. As a child, seeing other children with their parents on graduation day, birthdays, and on other special occasions makes me feel jealous. I had questions running in my mind. Matalino naman ako, talented naman ako pero why? But then, little by little, i understood why she went there. And now na tumatanda na sya, hoping na sana hindi isipin na may galit ako sa kanya kase naiintindihan ko naman. And hoping one day na ma repay ko lahat ng sakripisyo and paggihirap niya.

When I was in grade 1 my mother also work abroad and it's really hard growing up without the mother beside you to support when you succeed to hug you when your sad and get hurt. It came to my mind to hate my mom. My mom came back when I graduated in college and have work already. Then there comes a time that I hate to see her I don't want her to kiss me nor touch me but I pray to God to heal my wound and asked for forgiveness. But now I am happy that I already forgive my mom coz I know she do it for my own good for my future aswell. I thank God for giving me such a loving and generous mom. To all who have the same situation in my case there is no love and sacrifices that our moms will not do it for us as their children's love your mom as much as you love yourself because that's they deserve. I salute to all mothers working abroad just to make sure that their children's will have a better future.
