Oh right!! People pointed out he changed some of the lyrics and I couldn't remember what was different outside the "WHYY??" part about the cannibals. Truly is a good choice!

To be honest ... that was a little jarring while I was watching the show, which made it funnier, but though a good FUCK is part of Charlie's character, it didn't feel like a natural place for one. I too think 'really really' is more like her at that moment. I actually often find that Caleb's clean versions make me think more critically about whether a swear was the best writing choice, because often the replacement word he uses gets the point of the lyric across better. For example, Addict: "We're forever going to have _another_ reason to sin," brings the source of the sadness, the endless cycle, home a little better than the casual-sounding "We're forever going to have a _fuckin_ reason to sin."

I’m a fair bit late to this since I had an unpleasantly long day but at the end of it, this was cool to see. Hazbin Hotel has amazing music and I’m very excited to see more covers. I love how cheerful this tune is and how Charlie believes in her plan.
