Great sitcom from the 70s. I was born in 1971 and watched this show in the70s on Finnish television.

Maureen McCormick was known as Marcia Brady on The Brady Bunch, she first gained notice as Baby Miss San Fernando Valley at age six. By age eight she was acting in commercials and sitcoms, like My Three Sons. Thank you very kindly for your wonderful reply! Cheers! :-)

I loved the way Fonzie added "mundo" to the end of almost every word.

Great job, I love Maureen McCormick. Oh I remember the "Bag" character, and Chuck Cunningham. The show was originally supposed to be about Richie and Potsie; it must've been hard for all those other actors to watch Fonzie - a minor character - turn into a superstar.

If you also remember, the show was originally conceived as a single camera comedy. The big change was taping in front of a live audience! There's a certain challenge in doing it before a live audience, it's like doing a play! Plus Happy Days may be part of the largest spin-off in TV History. For example, there was Love, American Style, Happy Days, Out of the Blue, Laverne & Shirley, Mork & Mindy, Joanie Loves Chachi, Blanksy's Beauties, and Wait Till Your Father Gets Home.

Happy Days was just as huge in the UK - and it really was great comedy. Wonderful memories of being about 10 and impersonating Fonzie in the playground. Still funny today!

Honestly I never knew the audience was real either. I just imagined the laughter was all canned.

The Library Part was inspirational but for a lot of African American Folks The Library was a place that you weren't allowed to go. In his Book Black Boy, Richard Wright (1908-1960) had to get help from a Co-Worker in 1925 to get Books from The Library.

IMO from January '74 -April '76, it was flawless. Great writing & acting - it was so good for all ages. The season Sept '76 - April '77 showed some weakness (some of the Pinky T stuff, the fight scene w/ Fonzie & Carmine versus a gang, etc). But that season was still "good enough". Ron Howard is right at 13:52-14:05. The show got so pathetic unless maybe you were < 18. I gave up in '80 at 13. It's no stretch to say that from Sept '77 till the end in '84, maybe 1 in 10 episodes were watchable.

Answer:The "Happy Days" episode is called, Cruisin'! Having to drive the Cunningham family car and a run-in with a gang stack the odds against Richie and his buddies after Bag Zombrowski challenges them to come up with dates by midnight or run through Arnold's parking lot in their underwear. They pick three girls who use them to get back at their boyfriends, and one of the girls is played by Maureen McCormick. Richie has to drag-race the leader to keep the girls. I hope this helps! Enjoy!:)

If anybody's seen a more recent picture of Anson Williams, is it me or is there a remarkable resemblance to Jonathan Frakes (Will Riker from Star Trek: TNG)?
